Every Saturday is BBQ Night at Ludicrous Choppers! Come in and enjoy what ever we have cooking on the grill and spend some time with friends, before we figure out what to do that night. The grill is fired up about 5 pm and stays on until 9 or 10 pm.

It has come to my attention that I have offended some one with the words F- -k Off that I put on the inside of all my stage III carburetors and for this I sincerely apologize! Offending someone was not my purpose, it started out during the development of my carb, as different lines or symbols to keep the air disturbed across the butterfly plate and keep the fuel atomization as it crosses over the plate. Then once that was figured out hence the name Ludicrous which means in Webster’s dictionary= Amusing or Laughable

Through Obvious Absurdity, Incongruity, exaggeration, or eccentricity.

So I needed something there, and it was Ludicrous to put the words there instead of just lines. So in retrospect and from now on I will ask if the customer would have a problem with those words.

I also heard that this same person had an issue with the way his bike was running several months later

And instead of bringing the problem up with me, he brought the bike to another shop, and this is how the words inside the carburetor were brought to his attention. He was also told that I ruined his carburetor and this was why his bike was running bad. So they could sell him a different carburetor. Now I must say in my defense. This matter was never brought to my attention for one, now how can I fix it if I don’t know about it? Two, I have sold 122 just since I opened my own shop in 2004, and all with the same verbal 30 day money back guaranty, and so far I have never had any complaints considering a competitor is where this issue started I guess we need to consider the source, I would also like to add that if someone is having trouble tuning a carburetor, and would call me I would gladly fax them instruction on how to tune a motorcycle properly, so quit wasting your money and becoming the victim of those ex plumbers, ex painters, ex helicopter mechanics turned shop owner that never received any formal training on your Harley Davidson’s that ride on the backs and knowledge of their mechanics to earn their status. And check for their certification before handing over the key’s to your baby
